The customer/user authorises the handling of data accessed as a result of his or her browsing Internet web pages, queries or applications or the contracting of any service or product or of any transaction or operation carried out by the customer/user for the purpose of offers or publicity and promotional communications and for the contracting of other products and services of the Bank and to maintain their contractual relationship and Bank management, and to adapt commercial offers to the particular profile of the user/customer, the addressees of which are the commercial and technical services of the Bank. Specifically, the customer/user authorises the Bank to send publicity and promotional offers or communications electronically to the former’s e-mail address or through an equivalent means of communication.

The customer/user has the right to oppose the handling of any of his or her data not essential for performance of the contract and their use for any purpose other than maintenance of the contractual relationship. The responses given to issues raised outside the contract shall be optional.

The user/customer may, at any time, exercise his or her right to access, rectify, cancel and oppose his or her data, and revoke the authorisation granted to enable the Bank to send promotional or publicity offers or communications electronically by notifying the Bank of such action. To do so, the user/customer must send an e-mail to correo@banesto.es, or write to Customer Services (Servicio de Atención al Cliente), Avda Gran Vía de Hortaleza, número 3, 28043 Madrid. For information purposes, Banco Español de Crédito S.A., with address indicated above, is appointed manager of the file.

The customer/user accepts that his or her data may be ceded exclusively for the purposes indicated above to other institutions of the Banesto group or the group of which Banesto forms part, and in particular to Banco de Vitoria, S.A., Banesto Renting, S.A., Banesto Factoring, S.A. Establecimiento Financiero de Crédito and Banco del Desarrollo Económico Español, S.A. (BANDESCO), in the manner and under the restrictions set forth in Organic Law 15/1999 (13th December), on Protection of Personal Data".

Banesto does not guarantee that access to the website shall be uninterrupted or free from error; nor does Banesto accept liability for or guarantee that the contents or software accessible through this website shall be uninterrupted or free from error or damage to the user.

Banesto shall not be held responsible for or guarantee the usefulness of the information or contents of this website that could be used for personal purposes and in no event shall Banesto be held responsible for losses or damages of any kind that may arise as a result of access and use of the web page, such as, for example, computer viruses or any other type of harmful component.
